Know someone whose contributions deserve recognition? Nominate! The past quarter-century has seen an explosion of research in prenatal and perinatal psychology, resulting in new ways of thinking about the complex connections between early experience and developmental outcomes. The implications for everyone from obstetricians to adoptive parents, and from developmental psychologists to early intervenors, have been huge. It’s time to celebrate some of this progress by noting the work of practitioners and researchers around the world who have made discoveries, mused on the implications of those discoveries, and made those discoveries accessible to others. We live in different countries, speak different languages, and represent different academic/ professional and cultural/religious backgrounds. The emphasis of our work is not uniform, nor should it be. But it is likely our hearts and minds are more similar than dissimilar: we believe that our pre/perinatal experiences matter, and we share a goal of better health for both children and grownups. At the Prenatal Sciences Partnership Global Congress in the fall of 2022, conversations began about creating a Hall of Honor to maintain the spirit and values of those who pioneered this paradigm of earliest development since 1920. The early participants in these conversations hoped that the creation of such a Hall of Honor might not only save the teachings of the pioneers–allowing them to become a beacon of light and an inspiration for others–but also to encourage new work in areas never imagined before. Posthumous awards were presented at the 2022 Global Congress to Gabriela Ferrari, Lloyd deMause, Joseph Chilton Pearce, Peter Fedor Freybergh and David Chamberlain. Honor was given to Ludwig Janus and Otto Rank. In the middle of all this international and trans-disciplinary sharing of thought, Thomas Verny and Olga Gouni conceived the notion of designing a system of more permanent acknowledgements. The Hall of Honor was born. You are hereby officially invited to nominate potential inductees. Nominations will be particularly welcome from those whose written or spoken words have made research in prenatal and perinatal psychology accessible to both scientific and non-scientific audiences; those whose written or spoken words have lifted up points of view heretofore insufficiently recognized or whose words have thrown light on insufficiently examined variables in prenatal and perinatal psychology; those who have published their work in recognized scientific journals and books; and those who have demonstrated a pioneering spirit in their work and excellence in their research. Nominations are welcome from professional societies; from prenatal and perinatal sciences research and/or educational institutions; and from individuals engaged in clinical work or community outreach. The Hall of Honor committee includes Thomas Verny of Canada; Ludwig Janus of Germany; Olga Gouni of Greece; Kate White, Michael Trout and Karlton Terry of the United States and Nese Karabekir of Turkey. Бесплатни ресурси за професионалце Професионалци у пренаталним наукама играју најзначајнију улогу у пољу додавања веће вредности и квалитета животу. Овде је збирка ресурса за помоћ академској заједници, истраживачима и професионалцима у њиховом раду. Временом додајемо нове податке па се вратите и ... поделите. Наш пренатални живот утиче на нас током живота; Свесност нас чини слободнима! Не планирате своје путовање и ако мислите да јесте, размислите поново. Па, пренатална психологија ме је пронашла пре неких 25 година, када сам упознао једног од пионира. Убрзо сам открио да постоји нешто од велике вредности. Што га више проучавам, све сам више свестан дубине мудрости коју она може да открије онима, попут мене, који су дали своју Хипократову заклетву да служе оним клијентима који ми долазе у свом процесу поновног успостављања прекинутог континуума њиховог психосоматског здравља. Шта можемо научити од пионира у овој области? Као што ТС Елиот каже „Време садашње и прошло време су можда присутни у времену будућности. И време будућност садржано у времену прошлом…”. Проучавање неких од многих лепих умова и срца који су успели да сагледају истину људске стварности показује нам правац да гледамо и видимо, постављамо одговарајућа питања и тражимо одговоре, ближе одговорима истине, и дизајнирамо услуге и процесе који служе човечанству са добротом и поштовањем. Проучавање пионирског рада је проучавање онога што доживљавамо сада и онога што ћемо наставити да видимо у будућности. Ако се ништа не промени. Ако можемо да учимо из рада оних који су ходали пре нас, можемо да направимо сопствену додатну миљу да будемо додани њиховом путу доприноса. Не морамо поново да откривамо точак, већ да стојимо на раменима дивова и дођемо до нових разумевања. Зашто психотерапеути морају да имају ово знање? Психотерапеути су ти који слушају наративе клијената (и соматске или речи) и уочавају семе онога што лежи у основи болести или дисфункције, као и наговештаје враћања хомеостази здравља. Предности су огромне. Када психотерапеути науче како да читају узроке сукоба и како да поново успоставе помирење, када се упознају са примарним знацима у свим аспектима нас (речи, ћелије, уметност...) на свим нивоима, могу да скрате процес излечења. јер ће моћи да дођу до сржи од самог почетка избегавајући зачарани круг вртења у круг и круг поновљених сценарија и видеће како њихови људи и њихова окружења напредују. А шта је са акушерима и бабицама? Што се тиче акушера и бабица, они држе садашњост и будућност човечанства у својим рукама. Присутни су и пре зачећа (случајеви неплодности или ИВФ), током трудноће и гестације бебе и при рођењу и пуерперијуму. На овај начин, они постају вредна средства трансформације тако што су они који користе ово знање за примену Примордијалних програма унапређења здравља. Знање које стекну кроз пренаталну психологију омогућиће им да усмере и бебу и мајчину околину до избора који доприносе здрављу и усвоје процесе поштовања како би дочекали нашу децу. Мало знања додато за промену на сцени рођења, огромну промену у квалитету живота новорођенчади. Како друштво треба да се односи према трудницама и новорођенчади? У модерним временима већ постоји 100 година пренаталне психологије. То значи да већ знамо много. Знамо да је све што људско биће доживи од пре зачећа до одвикавања значајно и утискује се у себе да би се покренуло и, ако је негативно, изазвало болест и дисфункцију у животу након рођења. Важно је улагати у Примордијалне програме унапређења здравља и видети да сви који су укључени у дочек новопридошлица у живот (трудни парови, акушери, бабице, педијатри, социјални радници, васпитачи итд.) буду адекватно подржани и професионално обучени како би постали возила здравља и цивилизације са вишеструким повратком за цело друштво. Потребно нам је да наши креатори политике схвате и омогуће увођење оваквих програма за бебе у трудноћи и њихове родитеље, али и за новорођенчад, школску децу и тинејџере, као и младе парове који размишљају о родитељству и оне који старе, да поменемо неке од поља. Водећи рачуна о почетку, водимо рачуна о целом животном континууму. Нажалост, још увек морамо да се боримо са незнањем, ригидним протоколима који не узимају у обзир чак ни научне доказе, суочавамо се са отпором променама и плаћамо цену насиља и страха. Превисок! Зашто овај отпор? Разумљиво је несвесно се одупрети свему што нас враћа на наше исконске почетке јер смо сви створења која су искусила изазове понекад паклене трудноће и порођаја. Међутим, запамтите да свако од нас није само идентификација трауме. Скривање у сенци, одупирање ономе што осећамо да је наш неподношљиви бол далеко је од сигурности и среће, док дозвољавање да пригрлимо мрачније области искуства и учимо из онога чему се опиремо је пут слободе који нас ослобађа и све наше динамично благо за живот живот у потпуности. Ти то заслужујеш. Заслужујемо да уживамо у вашем пуном присуству. Сада је време!
